Welcome to House of Broel’s Victorian Mansion and Wedding Chapel, an architectural gem that is an impressive feat of engineering. In addition to being beautiful, the house is also very interesting. The original two story home built in 1850 was elevated in 1884 by Wm. Renaud, who added the magnificent first floor as a spacious setting for family weddings, receptions and parties.
Southern charm, hospitality and delectable cuisine meld in this romantic atmosphere to offer the perfect surroundings for affordable special celebrations no matter how small or large. Crystal chandeliers, lavish decor and exquisite antiques offer an ambiance that is unparalleled in the Magical city of Mardi Gras.
This lovely home is conveniently located in the Garden District, the heart of New Orleans, on the historic St. Charles Avenue Streetcar line. The lush secret gardens and courtyard feature a majestic pavilion, perfect for outdoor weddings and photoshoots.
