The House of Broel Fashion Museum located on the third floor via an assending staircase, offers a glamorous experience of Haute Couture, Celebrity Party, and Vintage Mardi Gras Gowns. The collection showcases exquisite designer wear that reads like a Who’s Who of New Orleans Society, including Broel’s first wedding gown, Anne Rice’s Gothic Attire, and other outstanding creations designed during her reign as a powerhouse in the Southern Fashion Industry. The museum features famous designers, local characters, and Ms. Broel herself, and tells her incredible life story through pictures, print, awards, and imported silk.
Tours of the museum are available by appointment when calling 504-494-2220. In addition to the Fashion Museum, The House of Broel also offers a charming mansion and gardens that provide an unparalleled setting for weddings, receptions, and parties.
